Sakshi Ghai is a third-year doctoral student in Psychology at the University of Cambridge with affiliations to the Department of Psychology and the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit. Her research focuses on the cognitive and social effects of technology, specifically in the context of gender and the Global South. Sakshi is hoping to diversify behavioral science.
Sakshi was a Visiting Scholar at Penn’s Center for Social Norms and Behavioral Dynamics. Previously, she has worked as an advertising executive at Ogilvy & Mather in Mumbai, as a diversity and inclusion researcher at Wharton People Analytics at the Wharton School, and most recently, as a short-term consultant at the World Bank’s behavioral science unit (eMBeD).
She received her BA in philosophy from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and her Master’s in Science in Behaviour and Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. Sakshi was named the 2015 Young India Fellow by Ashoka University.
